Surgery - General and Orthopaedic- Large treatment room with two operating tables

- Orthopaedic surgeries: e.g. Cruciate ligament rupture surgery, bone pinning and plating, arthrodesis (joint fusion), excision arthroplasty, luxating patella surgery
- Soft tissue surgeries: e.g. abscesses, dog fight injuries, stitch ups, gastrointestinal obstruction, bladder stone removal, total ear canal ablation (TECALBO), lateral ear canal resection, soft palate correction surgery, tumour removal, anal gland surgery and more

Anaesthesia- Three isoflurane gas anaesthetic units
- Advanced anaesthetic monitoring equipment including ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitor, Ap-aplert, temperature
- Full range of injectable anaesthetic to allow for paedeatric, senior and obstetric patients
- In-house preanaesthetic blood testing facilities (see Pathology below)
Pathology- Full in house lab facilities include a fully integrated Idexx VetLab to perform many types of blood tests. This state of the art equipment includes the Lasercyte for complete blood counts, VetTest for biochemistry blood tests and VetStat for blood electrolytes and blood gases
- Microscope for skin scrapings and cytology, refractometer and pH monitor for urinalysis, glucometer for diabetic cases
Dentistry- IM3 dental units including high speed drill with fibre optic lighting, low speed polishing handpiece and scaler
- Wet prep table for dental procedures
- Full range of dental hand instruments including rodent/rabbit instruments
Imaging - Radiology & Ultrasound- X-ray machine with dedicated lead walled area and anaesthetic machine
- Konica automatic x-ray processor
- Ultrasound machine for pregancy diagnosis
- Access to call out Specialist Ultrasonographers from DVI for more complex cases
Cardiology- Full cardiac work up facilities - including x-rays, specialist ultrasounds, blood pressure assessment, ECG readings and blood tests
Puppy Preschool- Monthly classes run by Senior Vet Nurse Sharon Itzstein at the local Town Hall
Premium Pet Food and Accessories- We stock the full range of Eukanuba/Iams premium biscuits, and also stock both Eukanuba, Hills and Royal Canin Veterinary Prescription diets for a number of medical conditions including dental disease and urinary tract health
